Enclave
3-row · shares Traverse / Acadia
The Enclave shares its platform and key family with the Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia. Transponder + remote on older, Smart Key on newer Avenir trims.
At RAXO Locksmiths in Winnipeg, I cut and program Buick keys and Smart Keys at your vehicle — spare keys from $90+, Smart Keys from $180+, all-keys-lost from $280+ (plus tax) — with a written quote by text before I drive out.
I'm Leo, and Buick is GM's quiet-luxury line — which is good news for a key. A Buick's key is the same GM chip and Smart Key family as the equivalent Chevrolet or GMC: an Enclave shares its key with the Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia. So a Buick key is a GM key I already carry, cut and programmed on-site with dealer-level access, from the older sensor-in-lock cars through the modern Smart Key era. Enclave, Envision, Encore GX, Envista — plus older LaCrosse, Regal, Verano and Lucerne — all in scope. Lost every key with none to copy? That's a lost car keys job, and I still program those on-site — no dealer tow.

Why a Buick key isn't dealer-only
Buick sits above Chevrolet and beside GMC in the GM family, but its keys are ordinary GM parts — the same chip and Smart Key families as the Chevrolet and GMC of the same year. That's why a Buick key is a same-day, on-site job for me, not a special-order.

The Enclave shares its platform and key family with the Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia. Transponder + remote on older, Smart Key on newer Avenir trims.

Buick pricing
At RAXO Locksmiths in Winnipeg, I cut and program Buick car keys on-site — spare keys from $90+, Smart Keys from $180+, all-keys-lost from $280+ (plus tax), with a written quote by text before I drive out.
Buick uses the same GM key hardware as its Chevrolet and GMC cousins, so it's the same bracket. Older transponder Buicks (LaCrosse, Verano, Lucerne) sit at the floor; the newer Enclave and Envision Smart Keys sit higher for the proximity fob hardware.
Spare / extra key
$90+ transponder
$160+ remote head / flip
$180+ smart key
Cut and programmed at your vehicle. Older transponder Buicks at the floor; Smart Key trims sit higher. Full breakdown on the spare key page.
Lost all keys (AKL)
$280+
A brand-new Buick key, cut and programmed on-site through dealer-level access after an ownership check. You skip the GM parts-order, the tow, and the service-bay timing. Details on the lost-keys page.
Fob programming only
$90+ you bring it
$90+ I supply
Bring a reputable aftermarket Buick fob and the programming is labour-only at $90+; or I supply a basic remote — same $90+ floor. A push-button-start proximity Smart Key is a pricier part — that's the spare / AKL pricing above, not a $90 basic-fob job. Fob programming details →
Manitoba PST 7% + GST 5% = 12% added to the total. Free inside the Perimeter; 90¢/km beyond, up to roughly 150 km. Payment by e-transfer, tap, or cash — after the key works. Two new transponder keys I cut and programmed for a Buick after an all-keys-lost call — done right at the customer's vehicle in Winnipeg, no dealer tow.

Yes. Buick is General Motors' quiet-luxury crossover division, and its keys are the same GM chip and Smart Key families as the equivalent Chevrolet and GMC by year — a Buick Enclave shares its key with the Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia. So a Buick key is a GM key I already carry: cut and programmed at your vehicle with dealer-level access, from the older sensor-in-lock cars through today's proximity Smart Keys.
Spare Buick key: transponder $90+, remote-head/flip $160+, Smart Key $180+, all-keys-lost $280+, plus tax. Fob programming alone starts at $90+. Older transponder Buicks — LaCrosse, Verano, Lucerne — sit at the floor; the newer Enclave and Envision Smart Keys sit higher for the proximity fob hardware. You get the exact number in a written quote by text before I drive out.
Yes — that's the all-keys-lost (AKL) job. Because a Buick shares its key family with the equivalent Chevrolet or GMC, I use dealer-level access to cut a fresh blade and program a new transponder or proximity Smart Key into your Buick's immobilizer right at your vehicle in Winnipeg — no dealer tow, no parts-order wait. Before I start I verify ownership: photo ID matched to your registration or proof of insurance in your name. If your papers are locked inside, I run the lockout first.
All of them: the current Enclave, Envision, Encore GX and Envista, plus the older Encore, LaCrosse, Regal, Verano, Cascada, Lucerne, LeSabre, Park Avenue, Rendezvous, Rainier and Terraza. If it's a Buick, text me the year and model and I'll confirm the exact key and price before booking.
Effectively yes — the Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia are the same 3-row platform and share a key family by generation. That's the advantage of a Buick being GM: the key isn't a rare, dealer-only part. It's the same GM blank and programming I use across the lineup.
Yes. The older full-size Buicks — LeSabre, Lucerne, Park Avenue — and the Rendezvous / Rainier crossovers sit in GM's sensor-in-lock or transponder eras and are usually the value end of the bracket. Watch for the same flashing-security-light quirk the GM trucks of that era have; there's an on-site reset I can run. Text me the year and I'll confirm the key style.
A spare cut from an existing key runs 5–10 minutes; a transponder or Smart Key spare 30–40 minutes at your vehicle. Lost every key, plan 1–3 hours — decoding and ownership checks add time. Exact timing comes with the written quote.
Quote in writing before I dispatch. Enclave, Envision, Encore, or a classic LeSabre — every Buick in scope, cut and programmed on-site. Pay after the key starts the engine.
